Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC)
The OIEC handles reporting, and misconduct related to protected-class discrimination or harassment, sexual misconduct, and abuse.
African American
Black Student Alliance
The Black Student Alliance is an organization that serves as an advocate of the Black/African American student and as ally to all other underrepresented voices on campus.
Latinx
SHPE focuses on empowering the Hispanic community to reach their potential through STEM. Graduate students can act as mentors in this organization.
Forever Buffs Latinx
The primary goals of Forever Buffs Latinx are to encourage commitment to the Hispanic/Latino community, to perpetuate the study of Hispanic-American/Latino culture and history, and to encourage individuals in the Hispanic/Latino community to achieve their educational goals. They host fun events throughout the year in the Denver/Boulder area, including an annual Chile Open that raises thousands of dollars for Latinx students who are attending the university. They are also open to volunteers and other assistance.
United Mexican American Students y MECHA
UMAS y MECHA is a Chicanx and Latinx student group on the University of Colorado Boulder campus. Their mission is to encourage respect, dignity, justice and equality for the Chicana/Chicano. They work with any organization that advances the rights of all people.
Intercambio is a Colorado organization that teaches immigrants English through English classes. They are accepting volunteer teachers.

Indigenous/Native American
Center for Native American and Indigenous Studies (CNAIS)
The CNAIS provides Native students and faculty an intellectual and social home at CU Boulder. It is both an academic division and a resource with helpful links to aid the success of Native American students at CU.
AISES works to advance indigenous people in STEM disciplines by providing scholarships, internships, professional development and career resources, national and regional conferences, leadership development summits, and other STEM-focused programming.
NGSG is a collective of Indigenous and Indigenous-allied graduate students who work to develop and foster Indigenous community at CU Boulder and throughout the greater Front Range. The NGSG organizes a speaker series each year, and collaborates with the CNAIS and the American Indian Law Program.
White Antelope Memorial Program
The White Antelope Memorial Program works to build a thriving Native American community on the CU Boulder campus through events, activities and scholarships that promote academic success.
The Ryan J. Smith Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students at CU Boulder, with preference given to students who are members of a Federally recognized Native American tribe.
