The IACUC is pleased to announce the launch of our new protocol software,听eProtocol听by Key Solutions听as the electronic research administration system supporting animal research.听Protocol development, submission, and review by the IACUC is conducted within this system. Other administrative processes听including听animal ordering and billing are processed via the听eAnimal听module听in the Key Solutions software suite.

Tips on Accessing Key Solutions

  • Unable to log in or cannot find a researcher/student when trying to add them to a protocol:
    • Ensure that you (or the person you are searching for) has completed the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)听Training.
    • Double check that you are using your CU issued Identikey and password (and that these were provided to OHS).
  • VPN: While accessing Key Solutions from off-campus, we encourage听signing into the VPN for added security. If you do not have the always-on VPN you can sign in via听.
  • Which Browser should I use?
    • Whether you're on a PC or a MAC, it is recommended that you use Mozilla Firefox to access Key Solutions
      • Most other browsers, such as Google Chrome and Safari, are also supported.
  • Pop-ups are Required: Key Solutions is a pop-up based software, and must be enabled on whichever browser you choose.
    • To enable pop-ups, follow these instructions.听
