The Mountain Research StationÌýwelcomes K-12 Schools and Program Operators to partner with us to use the station for instruction in environmental sciences. ÌýAt this time the Mountain Research Station does not directly offer K-12 programs with curriculum, but instead we partner with program operators who have their own curriculum and teaching staff/volunteers. ÌýThe station can provide facilities andÌýsite support for visiting K-12 program operators. ÌýPlease contact us to discuss your program as well as your facility and support needs. ÌýDay programs as well as overnight programs can be supported. ÌýPlease visit our settings and facilities page as well as our schedule of user fees for details on available facilites and fees.

All program operators must comply with the Mountain Research Station Child Protection Policy.

Interpetive trails at the Mountain Research Station

The CU Public Outreach and Office of Engagement has recently awarded a grant to the Mountain Research Station to develop and constructÌý3 interpretive nature trails with an emphasis on plant and animal ecology, hydrology, geomorphology, forestry, and atmospheric science. ÌýThe trails are intended to support self-guided tours as well as provide a platform for guided tours.Ìý Trails were completed in 2021!Ìý Please see our page on our interpretive trails.
