Qualified students are encouraged to apply for graduate student research assistantships in the various geophysics research groups at the University of Colorado. Individual faculty membersÌý´Ç°ùÌýparticipating departments can be contacted for additional information. Candidates with a strong quantitative background and with computer expertise are particularly welcome. Good initiative and communication skills are essential. Students interested in the Ph.D. program are given higher consideration for funding (M.S. is not required for entry to Ph.D. program).

In addition to extensive academic and research programs offered by participating departments, geophysics students enjoy research opportunities in several University research institutes and centers under the Boulder Graduate School, including the , the , the , the , and the Colorado Center for Astrodynamical Research (CCAR).
