The use of ultrafast lasers in photochemistry is as long as the ICP conference series itself, with only the definition of ultrafast changing over time. The #ULTPhoto session will cover the current state of the art developments including excited state dynamics, charge and electronic transfer processes, excited state proton transfer, ultrafast vibrational dynamics, non-adiabatic dynamics, and photoswitches.
