If a tuition account is not paid by the end of the semester or session, the account is referred to CU Boulder's Student Debt Management department (SDM) where听students have a limited opportunity to pay off the balance without the delinquency being reported听to national credit bureaus.听After about six months, past due accounts are placed with a private collection agency in accordance with Colorado law.     If you owe charges from a prior semester听or session听and/or you have been contacted by Student Debt Management, you can set up automatic monthly听payments or simply make a one-time payment.
