      AY24-25ÌýBFA Fall Elections -ÌýElections for seat vacancies on BFA Standing Committees are heldÌýin September.Ìý Additional BFA and CU Faculty Council seat vacancies as noted will be included during this time. The nomination and election process for these seats has two phases - internal (only open to BFA representatives) and external (open to all Boulder faculty senate members). BFA Assembly representatives vote on nominees for both internal and external elections. For more information on BFA committees and seat vacancies, please see the individual committee of interest or contact bfa@colorado.edu.

      Phase I - Internal BFA electionsÌý- Open to BFA Assembly representatives only. Faculty should send self-nominations* to BFA Secretary Vicki Grove at: bfa@colorado.edu.

      • Nominations open from August 26th to September 3rd
      • Elections are held via Qualtrics from September 3rd through September 5th

      Phase II - External BFA Elections - Open to campus faculty senate members** who will receive an e-memo from BFA Secretary Vicki Grove with details on nominations.Ìý

      • Nominations open from September 9 to 18
      • Elections held via Qualtrics from September 19-20.Ìý

      *All nominations for fall elections should:

      • Come directly from the nominee (self-nomination)Ìýand be emailedÌýto BFA Secretary Vicki Grove at bfa@colorado.edu with "BFA Elections" as the subject line
      • List name, title, department affiliation and include 1-2 sentences (max) about your interest in the specific committee(s).Ìý
      • Do not list multiple committees unless you are able to serve on all of them. If you are not elected to your first committee of choice, we will work with you to find an alternative if possible.Ìý

      BFA 2024ÌýSpring At-Large Assembly Representative ElectionsÌý

      Elections for BFA Assembly At-Large Representatives occur each year during February and March. Assembly At-Large Representative seats are open to all eligibleÌýcampus facultyÌýand are voted on by the full faculty senate. See Becoming a Member for more information on what is entailed in serving as a BFA At-large Assembly representative. All terms are for three years.Ìý Non-A&S units include: Leeds School of Business, College of Engineering, College of Media, Communication, and Information (CMCI), CU Law, School of Education, Campus Libraries, Environmental Design, and the College of Music. Elections concluded on Friday, March 15th.
