Come see the innovative and creative projects from students and staff at the . Because the center welcomes a range of majors and interests, there is something to interest everyone. The showcase features works involving computing, art, learning, chemistry, design, robotics, music and more! It runs 3:30–5:30 p.m. and is free for the community.

Fri-Yay Nights: Plant Party

Want to test out your green thumb? Come decorate pots and plant your very own succulents to take home in UMC 415 at 7 p.m.

Program Council'sHorror Movie Month continues with an absolute classic: Stephen King’s Carrie.Free entry and popcorn; film starts at 8 p.m. inChem 140.

“In this chilling adaptation of Stephen King’s horror novel, withdrawn and sensitive teen Carrie White (Sissy Spacek) faces taunting from classmates at school and abuse from her fanatically pious mother (Piper Laurie) at home. This event brings together innovative thinkers and students who want to make the world a better place. With a keynote talk by Ericka Hart, acclaimed speaker and award-winning sexuality educator, CU students are encouraged to take part in the day-long conference. Lunch is provided, and the conference is free for CU students. Runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Idea Forge.

Just outside of Boulder, the is a great weekend activity for kids and adults alike. International Student &Scholar Services is offering discounted tickets and a ride to the Butterfly Pavilion for just $5. Anyone is welcome to join on the trip. The bus will leave from Lot 319 at 9a.m. and return to Boulder at 1p.m.

The Resident Hall Association is hosting itsannual haunted house in the Village Center Multipurpose Rooms! Stop by with some friends for a spooky good time. The event goes from 8p.m. until midnight and is free for students with a Buff OneCard.

CU’s Amazing Race

Are you ready to take on CU's Amazing Race? This event features mental and physical challenges created by CU Boulder alum and CBS reality TV show Amazing RacecontestantFloyd Pierce (ApMath, Econ'17). Check in at 9 a.m. on Farrand Field; cost is $10 for Herd members, $15 for all other students and $20 for young alumni (cost is per person and teams consist of two racers).
