at the University of Colorado Boulder is one of 17 satellite sites across the country for the XSEDE HPC Monthly Workshop on April 18Ìýand 19.

This month’s two-day workshop focuses on MPI—the standard programming tool of scalable parallel computing—andÌýis intended to give C and Fortran programmers a hands-on introduction to MPI programming.Ìý

Both days are compact, to accommodate multiple time zones, but packed with useful information and lab exercises. Attendees will leave with a working knowledge of how to write scalable codes using MPI.

The workshop will be available only via teleconference, so participants must attend in person at the Technology Learning Center, located on Main Campus at 1045 18th Street.

Though the workshop is entirely free,Ìýdue to the size of the room, participants areÌýlimited to 20 people.Ìý closes Thursday, April 13.
