Bio:
Ferin is a fourth-year undergraduate studying computer science and physics. In his capacity as project manager, he oversees all engineering, business, and operations efforts to ensure the success of the team in the 2023-2024 Not-A-Boring Competition. Prior to this, he was Hyperloop's Software Lead and official "Fixer", where he was responsible for all software including guidance, navigation, control, the graphical interface, and the communications architecture. He helped lead the team to the Accuracy Award for their GNC system in the 2022-2023 competition. Previous to this, he was a software member that worked on whatever he could.
In addition to Hyperloop, Ferin has worked at Chembotix, a Boulder startup focusing on automating chemical R&D, as a robotics and software engineer. He also worked at the Boring Company as a software engineering intern.
For fun, Ferin enjoys reading, ultimate frisbee, and swing dancing, which he used to do competitively.
