Karen Gaston Malcolm, Teaching Assistant Professor, M.A. University of Nebraska 鈥� Lincoln, B.A. University of Arkansas - Little Rock.
Karen has taught beginning, intermediate and advanced courses for the Spanish Department. In addition she is the coordinator for the Department鈥檚 Service Learning program.
Karen has worked as a professional translator/interpreter in Chile, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru with companies such as Deloitte & Touche, KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Standard &Poor鈥檚 and the taxing authorities of the above mentioned countries.听 Her professional development includes attending the 鈥淐onsejo Latinoamericano de Escuelas de Administraci贸n鈥� conferences in Santiago, Chile and Guayaquil, Ecuador, the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School for International Business Education, plus the University of Colorado Peak to Peak Project for Faculty Development in Sustainability.
