Agnes was recently awarded a postdoctoral fellowship from the (FWF), and her project examines听 drivers of diversification in Merianieae (Melastomataceae) as well as the maintenance of buzz pollination in some听high elevation lineages. The picture on the right shows one of these beautiful species (courtesy of ). In carrying out her postdoctoral听project,听she is splitting her time between the US (where she will work with Stacey and with ), the UK (where she will work with ), and Vienna (where she will work with 听and听). She'll also be doing field work in Colombia and Ecuador. We're super excited to have her as part of our group!
