On Oct. 20, while touring JILA and various labs, Bennet celebrated an announcement by Gov. Jared Polis that the U.S. Department of Commerce had designated Colorado鈥檚 Elevate Quantum consortium a Regional Technology Hub for Quantum Information Technology (QIT).

CU Boulder generated $4.3 billion throughout the state during the last fiscal year, up from $3.3 billion the previous year, according to a study by the Business Research Division of CU Boulder鈥檚 Leeds School of Business. Locally, CU Boulder was the largest economic contributor to the Boulder metropolitan statistical area.
