Our research focuses on the development of ultra-low loss photonic integration technologies and techniques to realize precision lasers with stable ultra-low frequency noise and functional quantum and atomic optical circuits on chip. Our work involves moving atomic, molecular and optical physics experiments to the chip scale, including the generation, modulation, stabilization, and detection of light, as well as the delivery of light to the atom. We also focus on techniques to reduce and engineer the frequency noise properties of 听light for quantum advantages.
