Stephanie Couey is a Ph.D. candidate in English, and her research is in contemporary multiethnic North American women鈥檚 literatures. Her dissertation focuses on food and the body alongside considerations of citizenship, diasporic identity, and transnational U.S. imperialism. She previously received an MFA in Creative Writing, also from CU Boulder. Alongside critical work, she writes poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction.
