This short film aims to disrupt these stereotypes by exploring how Aaron and Magan Proctor raise their young son, Sincere Proctor while demonstrating an ignored outlook and perspective on the Black family. It represents an alternative to what is typically displayed in the media and focuses more on the hope and joy that exists in the Black community. This film will also explore how the history of negative stereotypes and oppression cycles still impact Black youth and families today, especially through the lens of parenting.
