I'd Look For You

This short film follows two brothers as they move away from each other and deal with the struggles that come with leaving the ones you love behind to continue on your path in life. I wanted to capture the uniqueness of the relationship between two siblings, to me, this dynamic is one of the most compelling and powerful relationships to observe and experience and my goal was to capture this imperfect yet unconditional love that we share with our brothers and sisters. The film mostly runs over one day as the younger brother gets more and more frustrated with his older brother, who moved away and has a hard time communicating; it feels as if their connection is being lost, not maliciously by either side, but because growing up is hard and the pain that follows is simply part of life. This film takes a snapshot of one day as these brothers attempt to navigate this new disconnect in their relationship.
