Agony is a fictional narrative short film that revolves around Max and his relationships with important people in his life. That includes his girlfriend Delaney, his aunt Annie, his parents, and most importantly his cousin Brett. Max’s relationships with these people is distant. He actively avoids phone calls from them, and can act anywhere from cold and hostile to loving and empathetic when it benefits him. This normal for Max begins to change however when Brett tragically decides to take his own life.
