Taylor is a PhD student in Geography, working with听Dr. Katherine Lininger in the Fluvial Geomorphology Research Group. She is currently working on a project in Capitol Reef National Park, Utah, where she uses a combination of fieldwork, geospatial analyses, and hydraulic modeling to investigate how human modifications have changed the geomorphology and ecology of the Fremont River. Taylor graduated from the University of Denver in 2019 with a BS in Environmental Science. There, she completed an undergraduate thesis that evaluated the hydrologic and geomorphic conditions of the Fish Creek Watershed on the North Slope of Alaska to produce a catchment connectivity classification system and help inform natural resource management decisions. After graduating, Taylor worked several seasonal positions in national parks as an environmental听educator and hydrologist before returning to school.听
