This role is meant for someone who desires to further integrate mental and physical well-being into the fabric of PLC through regular discussions and activities focused on mental health and well-being care.聽聽Additionally, this role is active in breaking the stigma around talking about mental health, passionate about creating a legacy of compassion within the PLC community and advocating for greater understanding about the spectrum of wellness among students. Most of the work done in this position is during First-Year lecture both fall and spring semester. Other avenues for advocacy and work exist in the other PLC courses, student staff, and community events. Candidates should be self-motivated and adept in creating workshops, seminars, handouts, etc. consisting of mental health promoting skills and techniques. This position is not meant to be an advisor, counselor, or practitioner of mental health in any professional capacity. Pay rate = $3000/academic year
