The role of the Donor Relations Coordinator is to connect with PLC scholarship recipients, compose write-ups about each student, design and create graphics to accompany the short write-up and send them to specified donors. Increasing donor communication and acknowledgment increases recurring donations, elevates public relations and program reputation, and aids in program growth, both fiscally and in the student population. This role requires creativity and keeping up to date on current programming. This role also requires marketing acumen, good writing ability, and email professionalism. The Donor Relations Coordinator may also act as the student representative at donor-focused events such as tailgates, homecoming games, guest lecturers, award dinners, etc. Ease and ability in networking is a plus.
