"The Colorado Summer Seminar was a great opportunity to learn what it was like to be in a graduate seminar for philosophy. I met students from vastly different backgrounds with vastly different interests, but all of us had in common that we loved philosophy. I had never been around so many people committed to thinking deeply about philosophy, which made the seminar a fun, challenging, and worthwhile experience. Personally, I grew philosophically, intellectually, and (surprisingly) professionally, as the seminar offered far more than just a typical upper-level classroom experience. I come from a small program, so the chance to meet the top-notch professors from Boulder and interact with guest professors from around the world was a real treat as well. If you're looking to make friends with passionate philosophers and get a taste of a graduate education in philosophy, the Colorado Summer Seminar is what you are looking for!鈥�

鈥淚 was incredibly fortunate to take part in the 2021 Summer Seminar. While it was held remotely, I could not have drawn up a more enjoyable and impactful three weeks. The seminar was an intensive dive into ethics and epistemology, and the program helped me define projects within those topics (and intersecting with others) that I hope to work on in my future graduate studies. The faculty hosted exciting and challenging discussions, and many were generous enough to follow up with me (via email or zoom) to continue discussing topics that really captured my interest. The seminar expanded my understanding of debates in moral theory and epistemology, and there are very helpful resources for those preparing to apply to graduate programs (like me!). I was able to speak with several professors about my personal application, and I'm confident that I emerged a stronger applicant at the end of the three weeks. I still talk often with another of the participants! I can't recommend the seminar enough and encourage those interested to apply.鈥�
