Henry graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Chemistry (Biochemistry ACS Approved), where he worked on developing a DNA aptamer alternative to epinephrine for treating anaphylaxis, and as an EMT performing translational research in cardiac and cerebrovascular disease. During undergrad, Henry was a co-instructor for several High School and Undergraduate classes as well as the lead for a STEM outreach program for grades K-2. He is currently a second year in the Leinwand Lab where he studies the pathology of mutations in beta-myosin that cause Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.

Outside of research, Henry enjoys exploring new places around the Boulder/ Denver area to grab a good meal, as well as hiking and playing guitar. In the future, Henry hopes to obtain a faculty position working as an undergraduate teaching professor.
