Daniel Knight is an associate research professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at CU Boulder. He specializes in engineering education with a focus on outreach, assessment, and project based learning activities. He is one of the directors of the Colorado Science and Engineering Inquiry Collaborative (SCENIC Colorado) which is focused on preparing and deploying CU students to mentor environmental engineering projects in rural Colorado high school classrooms.
