Schwartz serves as director of bands and assistant professor of music at Southeastern Louisiana University where he teaches instrumental conducting classes.

Paul Lorenz (BM ’16)Ìý
Lorenz serves as a lecturer (saxophone) at Purdue University in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Allan Armstrong (DMA ’16)
Armstrong received the 2021 Indiana University Trustees’ Teaching Award at the IU Jacobs School of Music, where he is an assistant professor of music (voice).

Nora Segura-Barpa (BM ’18)
Segura-Barpal serves as the director of individual giving at New Conservatory Theatre Center, a professional theatre in San Francisco. She led the 2020 and 2021 Music Inclusion Coalition's national conference on equity in collegiate music programs, hosting more than 20 institutions from across the country (including CU Boulder).

Annie Booth (BM ’11, MM ’20)Ìý

Seth Taft (PhD ’20)
Taft serves as director of instrument music, program coordinator of music + music education and assistant professor of music at Limestone University in Gaffney, South Carolina.

Ryan Spencer (DMA ’20)
Spencer won a position with the United States Air Force Academy Band in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Conrad Sclar (DMA ’20)
Sclar serves as principal violist for the Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale, violist in the Permian Basin String Quartet and adjunct professor at University of Texas Permian Basin.

McCahan received the Joy In Singing 2023 Debut Artist Award and presented a recital at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall in New York City in February 2023. McCahan also won the 47th National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Artist Awards competition.

Thomas Erik Angerhofer (MM ’06, DMA ’20)
Angerhofer serves as the director of opera + musical theatre at the University of North Alabama. While much of his work and research has been focused on acoustic voice pedagogy, particularly acoustic and articulatory phonetics as they relate specifically to singing, his GA (Graduate Assistantship) and Graduate Part Time Instructorship (GPTI) at CU Boulder provided him invaluable experience in stage direction and dramatic training for lyric theatre. While at the CU Boulder College of Music, Angerhofer was able to be mentored by the director of opera studies, eventually teaching a section of opera workshop and assistant directing a number of outstanding guest directors.

Grace Stringfellow (BM ’21)Ìý
Stringfellow was a finalist in the National Collegiate Solo Competition and performed as soloist with the CU Symphony Orchestra after winning the College of Music’s undergraduate Honors Competition.
