Women鈥檚 History Month began in 1987 to highlight the accomplishments of women throughout history but has its origins in New York City, where the Social Democratic Women鈥檚 Society first observed National Woman鈥檚 Day in 1909. This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥渃elebrating women who tell our stories.鈥�
