Alba received her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. She has done research internships at Imperial College London working on graphene composites for photocatalytic water splitting and at the Institute of Photonic Science in Barcelona working on perovskite solar cells.

She joined the Team Weimer in 2015 to work on Molecular Layer Deposition to prevent sintering and increase the performance of the catalysts.
