Solar Thermal Hydrogen Production

Austin is currently attending the University of Colorado-Boulder as a Chemical and Biological Engineering major. He is from Overland Park, KS, a town just outside of Kansas City. Austin began working in the Weimer Lab in the summer of 2014 where he participated in researching catalysts for hydrogen fuel cells, prepared via Atomic Layer Deposition. He is participating in a C2B2 REU, working on a project focused on improving the processing and application of aluminum nitride powders. Outside of lab, Austin helped establish the University of Colorado chapter of Camp Kesem, which provides a free week of camp to children impacted by a parent’s cancer.
