My project involves high temperature, solar-driven thermochemical water and carbon dioxide splitting for the production of renewable fuel (H2Ìýand or CO). ÌýThe goal is to understand the fundamental fuel production kinetics using a variety of experimental and modeling approaches. These kinetic models are instrumental in maximizing the solar-to-fuel conversion efficiency for a particular reactor design.
