During my time in the Taylor Lab, I have been working as a member of the Boulder Chickadee Study field crew. I am interested in adult provisioning and the diet composition of nestlings living in our nesting boxes. Currently, I am working on arthropod surveys around occupied nesting boxes that will give me a better idea of insect numbers available to adult chickadees to feed to their young. This data, in conjunction with provisioning surveys and nestling fecal samples, will help me determine how much and what type of available food is being utilized by provisioning adults.Â
