Congrats to Sara, Nikki and Will for their recently awarded research Grants!听
Sara was awarded the Zena Hunter Andrews Graduate Student Award听for her project听"Comparing the genetics of spatial memory in two species of food caching chickadee"
Nikki was awarded a Denver Field Ornithologists research grant for her proposal "Investigating anti-predator defenses in chickadees along the Rocky Mountain Front Range"
And Will was awarded both a Denver Field Ornithologsts research grant for his proposal "Comprehensive transect sampling of the North American House Wren hybrid zone" as well as the Frank M. Chapman Award from the American Museum of Natural History for his proposal "One or more? Exploring population differentiation of the Northern Pygmy Owl complex using genomics and vocalizations"
