In a in ACS Nano, Shaun Gallagher and Jessica Kline et al. investigate the role of ligand binding on photoluminescence blinking in perovskite quantum dots (QDs). They use widefield photoluminescence spectroscopy and first-principles calculations to demonstrate that tight ligand binding reduces blinking in perovskite QDs. This work is part of a push toward the use of these QDs as single photon emitters in quantum light applications.
