Located in Norlin Library's Underground West Gallery on the first floor, the exhibitÌýWaging Peace in Vietnam: U.S. Soldiers and Veterans Who Opposed the WarÌýis available for viewing. As part of the exhibit events, an essay contest isÌýbeing hosted that requires students to write a 500-650 word essay that reflectsÌýon the exhibit. Famous photojournalist Nick Ut, knownÌýfor his photographÌý"The Napalm Girl," will be selecting the winner of theÌýcontest. The winner of the contest will receive a $500 prize! The deadline is December 13th, so make sure to submit your essays to Linda.Yarr@colorado.edu by then.Ìý

In addition to the essay writing contest, a number of events from October 30th to December 13thÌýrelatingÌýto the exhibit will take place. A documentary, talks, panel discussions, and other events will be held in honor of the exhibit.
