- Beyond Human Vision - Explore the world of light and how it applies to stars through demonstrations comparing the vision of humans, other animals, and telescopes.
- Kinesthetic Astronomy -ÌýThrough a series of simple body movements, students will gain insight into the relationship between time, motions of Earth, and what we see in the sky at various times of the day and year.
- Science on a Sphere -ÌýWith our 5-foot hanging sphere, students will get a close-up look at the Sun and Moon and discover their significance to Earth.

ÌýPatterns of the apparent motion of the sun, the moon, and stars in the sky can be observed, described, predicted, and explained with models.
ÌýThis model of the solar system can explain eclipses of the sun and the moon. Earth’s spin axis is fixed in direction over the short-term but tilted relative to its orbit around the sun. The seasons are a result of that tilt and are caused by the differential intensity of sunlight on different areas of Earth across the year.
