Now that a few students have graduated and moved on to better (?) things, it's time for a new generation of graduate students to pick up the torch. With that in mind, it is my pleasure to introduce the two newest members of the ROCC team: Simon Jones and Ali Sulehria!
Simon is joining us from聽Allegheny College, where he majored in Physics and Computer Science. He is now joining CU Boulder in the context of our brand-new and very shiny Robotics Program.
Ali is instead joining us from聽Tulane University, where he studied Biomedical Engineering. He is already diving head-deep into research, having met his future collaborators at first year review of the .
Both Simon and Ali will be working on聽Quantum Control, with Simon focusing on the general side of optimization algorithms and Ali deliving into the specifics of shaken lattice interferometry.
