Alexandre Cortiella

Alexandre Cortiella is a Postdoctoral Associate, originally from Barcelona, Spain. His current research focuses on developing machine learning algorithms for autonomous spacecraft. Alexandre received his MS and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. His Ph.D. work focused on data-driven modeling and identification of nonlinear dynamical systems from noisy observations. He also holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia in Spain. Alexandre's research interests include data-driven modeling, spacecraft dynamics, estimation and control, and computational mechanics.
