I am an economist with two parallel passions: environmental economics and teaching in higher education. 

I've had the opportunity to work on topics related to air quality, climate change, land use, transportation, waste management, water, and incentives for biodiversity conservation. The research teams I led have been involved in different stages of policy implementation of economic instruments oriented to energy efficiency and biodiversity conservation. 
My research explores environmental taxes, the conservation of marine mammals, globalization and emissions, and, lately: urban mobility.

I have taught in private and public universities in Mexico and the USA and have used the online modality for over 15 years. My latest research explores the importance of human connection in learning economics.
