Drinking Water 101 Seminar: What you Need to Know

The goal of this one-day seminar is to provide in a nontechnical manner useful water-field technical knowledge for customer service representatives, administration personnel, utility board and city council members, and newcomers to the field.
A number of topics will be presented in an easy-to-understand format. The seminar is set up to facilitate presenters’ interaction with the attendees to help the attendees achieve a solid sense of the drinking water field’s many facets. The knowledge attendees gain from the seminar will boost their confidence in decision making and addressing customers’ questions; it will also enable them to interact well with other drinking water utility professionals.
Key discussions will take place about supply sources, treatment and distribution, regulations, the real-value versus the cost of drinking water, droughts, the future reality of drinking water, and more.
