This month, Environmental Design alumna Kate Sector and co-writers Nathan Jones and Shawhin Roudbari will be recognized by The Boulder Heritage Roundtable for their book 鈥淎n Architecture of Dialogue: Learning from the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse.鈥
A day-long event was organized through a collaboration between the Ren茅e Crown Wellness Institute and the Community Engagement, Design and Research Center (CEDaR). The occasion featured four innovative professionals who have engaged in research and programs centered around connecting communities to nature to address key health issues.
The Great ENVD Studio Clean Out
All projects, materials and personal belongings in ENVD studio spaces and the Creative Labs Center (CLC) must be removed by Tuesday, May 9.听
If you would like to donate leftover materials and/or tools for the take-it-or-leave-it shelves donation boxes are available near the front office.
Graduating seniors:聽Projects from the Senior Showcase must be cleaned out of ENVD 134 and 134A by Sunday, May 14. Work in the gallery will remain through fall 2023. Anything left in the ENVD building after these dates will be discarded.

ENVD is hiring instructor positions
Environmental Design is now accepting applications for non-tenure track Teaching Professor positions at the Assistant and Associate levels. We seek candidates with a broad interdisciplinary skillset in Environmental Design which includes majors in Architecture; Environmental Product Design; Landscape Architecture; and Sustainable Planning and Urban Design. The position is expected to begin in Fall 2023 or Spring 2024.
