Assistant Professor Shawhin Roudbari co-organized an event with Associate Professor Shideh Dashti of civil, environmental and architectural engineering that will feature a screening of the biographical film on Shirin Ebadi, who won the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize for her work on human rights in Iran. The event will take place on Friday, April 7, from 5-8 p.m. Those interested are due to limited space.ÌýÂ
The graduation application is now open for spring 2023. Apply to graduate by April 1, 2023 to ensure that you receive ceremony emails and that your name will be in the campus and ENVD graduation programs. Summer graduates are encouraged to participate and walk in the spring 2023 ceremony.Ìý

First-year students redesigned the area across from the CASE Building and the Euclid Parking Garage, bounded by Broadway and 18th Street, throug the lens of landscape design.Ìý
Product Portraits + City Stories:Â Tech 2: Visual Communications
First-year students used Adobe Photoshop to design product portraits to communicate the essence, scale and use of a product of their choice. In Adobe Illustrator, students distilled a city's story into images and created two 11x17 graphic posters with color schems and typefaces.Ìý

Guest lecture by Ashby Sachs, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow with the Barcelona Institute of Global Health (ISGlobal) researching nature-based interventions for loneliness. Ashby recently received her PhD in environmental studies at CU Boulder. She completed her BA in French languate and minor in landscape architecture at UVA and a MS fellowship in public horticulture with Longwood Gardens and the University of Delaware.Ìý
