ENVD scholarship applications are live. The deadline to apply for Environmental Design scholarships is Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023. Applicants must also complete the  for scholarships with financial need criteria and eligibility requirements.
The Environmental Design Scholarship Committee is proud to announce the 2023-2024 winners of the ENVD Research Award. The ENVD Research Award financially assists with senior-level ENVD honors and capstone projects. Congratulations to ENVD students Ellie Muncy and Ainsley McElwee!

Making Our Voices Heard in CU’s New Climate Action Planning

CU Boulder is currently in the process of formulating a new Climate Action Plan (CAP). The CAP process provides a window of opportunity where students, staff, and faculty can voice their concerns regarding campus climate policy. To facilitate such engagement, this session will provide a primer on CU climate policy. We will focus on the following issues:Â
The considerable gaps in CU’s existing climate policy;Â
Areas of special concern in the new climate planning;Â
How to voice our concerns as part of the university’s CAP process.

Lydia Mercante, a third-year Environmental Design (ENVD) student majoring in sustainable planning and urban design, spent the summer of 2022 meeting with various design professionals in New York City to learn more about the industry to share with other students.
