Dual degrees are issued at the same time at graduation (you cannot receive one degree before the other; however, you may complete the requirements for one degree before the other).

Dual Degree Requirements

The dual degree consists of 45 total credit hours:

  • 21 credit hours from the Engineering Management Program (EMP)
  • 24 credit hours from the Computer Science Program*

*The 24 credits required are at the discretion of the Computer Science department and may not need to all come from CSCI coursework.聽 Please consult the Computer Science department to confirm requirements for the degree of interest.

Current Requirements (starting Fall 2022)

When completing the ME Engineering Management degree candidacy application for graduation, in addition to the 21 EMEN credit hours, students will need to include 9 Computer Science credit hours to make the 30 total credit hours required to complete the ME Engineering Management degree.

When completing the Computer Science degree candidacy application for graduation, in addition to the 24 CSCI credit hours, students will need to include 6 EMEN credit hours to make the 30 total credit hours required to complete the Computer Science degree.
