I joined the Zero Waste Outreach Team to become more involved with environmental issues within the Boulder community. Spreading awareness throughout campus has taught me that through education and encouragement, people will change their actions and how they perceive the environment around them. By surrounding myself with fellow environmentalists, my knowledge and appreciation for recycling and composting grows everyday. I hope to inspire others to do the same. My passions include sustainability, mental health, creative expression, skiing, and of course, the trash. I am lucky to be able to express my creativity through my jewelry business @hippiedripjewelz. By sourcing all my materials from thrift shops and up-cycling pieces, I get to promote sustainability while doing what I love.Ìý
