I received my MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado. I worked at the David Taylor Naval Ship Research and Development Center; at the for the majority of my career; and at Bolder Systems. My research and teaching has led me to the University of Wales and to the InstitutoÌýTecnologicoÌýy de Estudios Superiores de Occidente. I’ve been excavating in Italy since 1992 and am a member of the Foundation for Calabrian Archaeology. I’m also a member of the Gu Feng Tai-Chi Club.
