My name is Gauri Mahajan and I am starting my junior year at CU Boulder. My major is Business Analytics. Starting my journey in the corporate world soon, I want to learn how to be a more effective and compassionate leader through the Dalai Lama Fellowship program. I am excited to learn more about being self-aware and mindfully regulating my own emotions, while also expanding my cultural perspectives through the program's emphasis on community and social justice.听As an international student, I have realized the importance of culture and how it affects people with a sense of belonging. My project will focus on workshops where fellows would come and present key elements of their culture and follow that with a hands-on cultural activity. This will promote a sense of belonging and听create lasting connections within all of us.听My other hobbies are painting, walking, and cooking.听
