Kit is a PhD student听based out of Information Science. Her research involves looking at how information overload impacts institutions grounded in big data and breaking disciplinary silos through interoperability and standards to create a robust information ecosystem when studying biodiversity informatics. Kit completed her first rotation with Orit Peleg in the Department of Computer Science. Her second rotation was completed with Aaron Clauset in the Department of Computer Science. Her third rotation was completed with John Rinn in the Department of Biochemistry. Her final rotation was completed with Laura Dee in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.听
