This month's Science Hero award goes to our awesome laboratory manager Renée Martin-Willett! Since joining the CUChange team, Renée has made so many positive contributions including organizing lab meetings and recruiting a fantastic team of undergraduate research assistants. But this award recognizes her work over the past couple of months to help our lab submit two huge NIH grants – one on the use of cannabis to decrease opiate use and another on possible linkages between cannabis and obesity – and a successful pilot application to study cannabis use among cancer patients. Renée put a huge amount of work into these projects and is a huge part of their successful submission. Nice work, Renée!
