      3. Happened on February 22nd

      4. Will provide the opportunity for students to learn about Saudi culture and how the Saudi state was established.

      5. It brings students from different cultures together and teaches mutual respect by promoting understanding.

    2. Questions

      1. Last year, your organization was placed on probation with a main reason being that the entire event was in Arabic and did not provide any translations

        1. There will be a translator this year. One option will be providing an actual translator or another option will be to have real time subtitles while the person is speaking. The last option is to have a translated version of the slides.

      2. Last year there was a partnership, will you be doing that this year as well?

        1. No, they will be focusing on them and not collaborating with other campuses.

    3. Discussion

      1. It is good that they are directly addressing the biggest issues we had with their event last year.

        1. They had a plan to present to us and asked for our input.

      2. They had previously been put on a one semester probation, but it is clear that they are trying to improve and address last year's concerns.

          1. Hoping to bring cultural relatability and bring light to domestic and cultural aspects of identity

    2. Questions

      1. The night market got really crowded, especially the line. You also ran out of food. Plans?

        1. Bumped up the quantity of food

        2. Adding a photo booth for people to take photos while they wait

        3. Instead of having student orgs tabling, they will add more tables for students to eat and socialize

        4. They will have many more students volunteering so the E-center doesn’t have to manage everything in terms of waste.

    3. Discussion

      1. The event looks fun, the food looks good, and the headliner is well known.

      2. The photo booth is not necessarily going to solve the food line problem.

        1. The photo booth would be in a different area.

        2. The addition of tables might help with the flow and more people will know where to go once they get food.

        3. They will need to go with CSI for the photo booth.

      3. With 800 people, the food organization might still be an issue.
