            5. An opportunity to share experiences about those that have passed away

      3. 7:45 PM - Left Right Tim Community Improv “Learning through Laughter: An Inclusive Comedy Workshop with Left Right TIM ,” November 11th 6:00 PM

        1. Reminder of our Mission Statement:

          1. The Cultural Events Board aims to broaden cultural knowledge by supporting the voices of underrepresented and misrepresented groups on campus, thereby promoting student engagement with their platforms. The Cultural Events Board encourages opportunities for interaction among students resulting in respect, appreciation, and understanding for cultural differences.

        2. Notes

          1. There is a section for advertising but the only form included is a pdf for catering.

          2. Event is focused on bringing in multicultural talent that isn’t represented in the comedy space

          3. Event will be a workshop that teaches the basics of improv comedy

          4. Also focused on using the tools of improv comedy to have conversations of identity, culture, and creating a safe space to share experiences

          5. Event will conclude with an open stage for students to showcase their new skills

          1. How will the students that come to the event be able to be more involved in your improv troupe

            1. Support new members till the spring audition

          2. How are you incorporating diversity, equity and inclusion into the actual event?

          3. Would you say that your event’s success is dependent upon the attendance of cultural groups/orgs or others and the collaboration of other groups? And if so, if the groups or other groups aren’t guaranteed to attend how can you make sure your event is still successful?

            1. The event is focused on developing tools to share experiences and talking about difficult issues

              1. Plan to also listen to the leaders of other student organizations on what could help in regards to working with them

              3. Ensure that groups are small enough for everyone to get a chance to share

          1. Diwali is one the major festivals in India that is the festival of light, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance

          1. Org was slow in getting us their marketing, which meant it was slow to go out

          2. Marketing was not clearly visible online or on campus

          3. Marketing was done through discord

          1. Audio issues before their live gaming event with commentary

            1. Led to a slight delay in the execution

          2. Had one computer go out halfway through their event

          3. Late to reach out to some student orgs
