    1. Program Council speaker system is no longer needed.听

      3. $42 on two microphones vs. $400 on audio system for Program Council.听

    2. Food is really important because it will help with attendance.听

      1. Because of the pandemic, people don鈥檛 want to go to events.

        1. Food will encourage people to come to the event.听

        2. It鈥檚 okay if we don鈥檛 have the entire quote. Cost will be cut by around $200 (still awaiting the new quote).

          1. Planning on removing the cookies and coffee. Only having fruit platter and hot chai.听

    3. The talent show is culturally based and the color gold is important.听

      1. They would like a gold banner or gold confetti.听

      2. Candles, lights, and lots of colors are part of Nepali culture.听

      3. Helps to sell the event.听

      2. Adding round tables so people can sit in a group and not as much a lecture style format. Encourages people and different groups to get to know each other.听

      1. All that is left is the fruit platter and the hot chai.听

        1. Chai is a staple of Nepalis culture.听

      2. Chose Glenn Miller because it is the center of campus.

        1. Could have chosen another location, like the rec center, but this is better for drawing people in. It is a better set up for the talent show as well.听

    2. What is the expected attendance?

      1. 200-250 people

      2. Lots of members this year (30-40).听

        1. Members are involved in different organizations that will likely be a part of the event.听

    3. What will you do to ensure the decorations are preserved for future years?

      1. UMC office space.听

      2. Already have decorations from previous years.听

      3. Now they know what works and what doesn鈥檛, so they can be used in future years. The decorations will also be able to be used in other NSA events.听

    4. Did you talk to Events Planning and Catering about a waiver for outside food at the event?

      1. Talk to dining services and the answer was no.听

    5. The Glenn Miller reservation has one table included and 220 chairs. Is that correct?听
